Ron Barksfield - Director

As a Chartered Electrical Engineer, Ron Barksfield has benefited from a career that includes a multi-disciplinary approach to project development and process controls.

His earlier career included work associated with materials testing equipment which included electronic load weighing and servo hydraulic positioning control system design within a precision machinery environment.

Ron has been involved in the roadstone industry for over 25 years, forming Batching & Blending Systems to provide acknowledged technical and development expertise. In this role he has led major projects that have included new plant-wide process control systems as well as many smaller process systems and projects.

Dave Kittridge - Director

Dave Kittridge is one of the leading PLC programmers and has vast experience in design and implementation of multi-PLC and distributed SCADA systems.

With a background as an Electrical Engineer, Dave started his programming on the first Allen Bradley PLC to be released and his knowledge now covers most platforms including Siemens and Rockwell.

Dave Kittridge has over twenty years programming expertise and his knowledge has been fundamental in helping processing plants to achieve full potential. He is also keen on improving the role and usability of management information data from process control systems.

Roger Hill (Director) – Commissioning Engineer

Roger Hill’s role is that of commissioning engineer and he has extensive experience of the relevant technology including PLC and SCADA software plus a full understanding of control panels and switchgear.

With over 25 years in the industry, Roger trained in Electrical Engineering and has hands-on experience of the roadstone and asphalt sectors including control system integration and burners.

Roger is well respected within the industry and plays a vital role in overseeing projects from initial conception to final completion.

Neil Collins (Director) – Project Manager

As Project Manager, Neil Collins takes a full customer liaison role to make sure that projects are delivered to time and budget. His wide experience plus in-depth knowledge of programming and systems software enables him to take an informed and helpful viewpoint.

Starting his career in mining, Neil also has experience in the automotive sector and high volume production where his work with techniques for fault finding and maintenance has been successfully applied to quarrying and roadstone.

Neil is also in charge of project scheduling, helping to ensure that multiple-customer projects all handled professionally

Brian Shuttleworth (Director) Burner Controls Specialist

Brian Shuttleworth is a Burner Controls Specialist with over 35 years experience. As a fully qualified Electro-Mechanical Engineer, Brian is very well known and respected in the U.K. and is one the country’s leading experts on burner control specification, installation and commissioning.
